It is installed on a vertical shaft on the same basement of the filler driven positively by gear transmission. Bottles are transferred positively directly from the filler to the capping turret by a star wheel. The capping heads are completely ST.ST. specifically designed for one type of closure, and taking the movement from gear and step less motor driver located in the upper part of the turret and lowered on the containers by control cam made of anti-deformation harder steel. The caps are fed by a centrifugal hopper with cap descending chute specifically designed for the customer’s closure and picked up by the closing head sets and deposited over the bottles entering under the capper. The chute is equipped with sensors that detect the presence of the closure and stop the machine in case of lack of caps.
